Application deadline for Friends of Blue Thumb Mini-grants

Volunteers are eligible for funding to accomplish education!  Maybe you want to buy some materials for an exhibit about your monitoring data.  Maybe your community is holding an Earth Day event and you want to participate.  Maybe you see the value in having a presence at the local farmer’s market, or you are going to be involved in a cleanup event.   Friends of Blue Thumb is giving away mini-grants of up to $200 to Blue Thumb volunteers.

If you are interested send a brief proposal (no more than one page) to Cheryl Cheadle and Noreen Casey (cheryl.cheadle@conservation.ok.gov  and noreenc@aol.com )  by March 31, 2019.  Include information about expected expenditures.  Volunteers submitting winning proposals will be notified by April 19.  Funds will be provided after the event or project is completed, and a brief report, including photographs, is submitted to FBT.   Feel free to contact Cheryl with any questions.  Proposals likely to be funded are those that will have far reaching educational impacts.
