Outstanding District Cooperator

This award is given to one District Cooperator each year who does an outstanding job in implementing conservation practices and using creative approaches to land management. District Cooperators may be nominated by any district. One Cooperator from each area will be chosen and recognized at the area and state meetings. Of the five Cooperators selected from each area, one will be chosen as the statewide "OACD Outstanding District Cooperator" and will receive a cash award at a ceremony hosted on Conservation Day at the Capitol. If you have any questions about the application process, please email sarahblaney@okconservation.org.

Eligibility

The nominee must be a conservation district cooperator and must have a conservation plan on file with the local conservation district office.  Current district directors, district employees and employees of NRCS are not eligible to receive this award.

Nomination Procedure

All nominations must be sent to the OACD Area Director representing the nominating district or submitted through this form online two weeks prior to the area meeting.  Download the official rules here.
