This award is given to one District each year that shows a creative use of resources, hard work, and dedication to the mission of OACD. Outstanding district awards will be decided using annual reports that are submitted to the Conservation Commission. No additional application is required. One District from each area will be chosen and recognized at the area and state meetings. Of the five districts selected from each area, one will be chosen as the statewide "OACD Outstanding District" and this District will receive a cash award at a ceremony hosted on Conservation Day at the Capitol. If you have any questions about the application process, please email [email protected].
Any conservation district in Oklahoma that is actively pursuing a program to conserve the renewable natural resources of the district and that is currently a dues paying member of OACD is eligible.
