This award is given to one District Director each year who goes above and beyond the call of duty for their board, community, and state. Below are the eligibility requirements, nomination procedure, nomination form, and deadline for submission. District Directors can be nominated by any member of OACD. One Director from each area will be chosen and recognized at the area and state meetings. Of the five Directors selected from each area, one will be chosen as the statewide "OACD Outstanding District Director" and this Director will receive a cash award at a ceremony hosted on Conservation Day at the Capitol. If you have any questions about the application process or anything else, please email [email protected].
The nominee must be a conservation district director who is currently serving on a district board.
All submissions must be sent to the OACD Area Representative for the Director's designated Area or submitted through this form online two weeks prior to the area meeting. Download the official rules here.
