Join us for the 79th Annual OACD Meeting, Feb. 26-28, 2017, at the Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Downtown Medical Center. We have a new location, new training opportunities for district employees and district directors, and conservation experts like Mike Brown from the National Association of State Conservation Agencies and Dr. Randy Anderson from ARS in South Dakota who specializes in reducing the need for herbicide by implementing plant diversity. We will also have experts to speak about soil health tests, highlight new work being done on pollinators and to help improve water quality. As always, we will honor the best in conservation at our service and annual awards programs. There is also great networking opportunities with a fun, casual game night planned for Sunday and the legislative reception and banquet on Monday. Download a meeting agenda here.

Don't Forget Your Legislators

It is very important that you follow-up with a special invitation from your District by contacting them. The reception will at 6:00 p.m. and the banquet will be at 7:00 p.m. Please also let Trey Lam and Sarah Blaney know that you have invited your legislators by including them on email invites and updating them on personal invites. Find out who your legislators are here.
If you are interested in sponsoring your legislator, please select a legislative banquet sponsorship amount on the registration sheet.
Districts will be supporting the legislative banquet instead of individual legislators. This will allow all districts help support legislators’ attendance, even if their own legislators are unable to make it. ALL DISTRICTS SPONSORING THE BANQUET WILL BE RECOGNIZED IN THE PROGRAM AND AT THE RECEPTION.
District Employees Breakfast
The breakfast will be held in the restaurant of the Embassy Suites. If you are attending the meeting, but not staying at the hotel you can purchase breakfast in the restaurant. Complimentary made-to-order breakfast is provided to all guests of the hotel.
